Joyful Panic

I was just reading Jordan's December Blog. A line about half-way through her post brought back an intense memory that made me laugh and cry instantly. We were at a park, about four of us. There were two younger girls in a tree nearby. It was raining so we ran towards the tree for shelter. We began talking to them and played soccer with them, then sat with them and got to share scripture with them... we ended up sharing the gospel with them. When asking them, "Would you like to receive this gift today?" One of the girls responded enthusiastically, "I do!" I looked at Jordan and she looked back at me.. I looked at Wes and at Rassi and they looked back. I looked back at Jordan who chuckled nervously and I'm sure we were all thinking.. Good! What do we do now? It was quite comical. This was the first person that had been this open to the gospel. This was the first person whose heart had been so softened by the Father's hand. I will never forget that moment... especially the look on Jordan's face. It was definitely a moment of panic and joy.

Haha.
